Frank Grossi
Frank Grossi teaches guitar lessons as well as bass lessons. He has been a gutiar teacher for the past 15 years. Frank began teaching at Granier Music in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After moving to Cave Creek, Arizona, he and his wife Carol founded Big Rock Music Lessons.
Frank teaches his students not only to read music, but to understand music theory as well. If students choose to read tablature, music theory will be incorporated into the music lesson. Guitar and Bass lessons are progressive, each building upon the next.
Frank loves questions and lets students pick the music they would like to learn. Students can play acoustic or electric guitar. Frank teaches all styles of guitar, from rock to jazz to folk. Frank teaches every student not only their favorite style of music, but requested songs from contemporary artists like Taylor Swift and Linkin Park, traditional jazz guitarist like George Benson, or heavy metal groups like Aerosmith.
Over the past ten years, Frank has taught hundreds of students in the Cave Creek and North Scottsdale area. In fact, if you've been to any school function in the area, you've probably heard one of Frank's students playing guitar or bass.
Frank has been playing the guitar for nearly five decades. His musical influences include 40’s big band to contemporary music: Buddy Holly to Metallica. Frank is active in several bands at North Ridge Community Church. He has also taught music at Dynamite and Summit Montessori Schools.
