Frank Grossi
Frank Grossi teaches guitar and bass. He has been teaching for the past 15 years. He began teaching at Granier Music in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After moving to Cave Creek, Arizona, he and his wife Carol founded Big Rock Music.
Frank teaches his students not only to read music, but to understand music theory as well. If students choose to read tablature, music theory will be incorporated into the lesson. Lessons are progressive, each builds upon the next. He loves questions and lets students pick the music they would like to learn.
Frank has been playing the guitar for nearly five decades. His musical influences include 40’s big band to contemporary music: Buddy Holly to Metallica. Frank is active in several bands at North Ridge Community Church. He has also taught music at Dynamite and Summit Montessori Schools.

Kristen Harris
Kristen Harris teaches piano, voice,recorder and beginning violin. She is pursuing her Master’s degree in Music Education from ASU. She has more than 10 years experience teaching children of all ages, both in a traditional and Suzuki methods. She believes in instructing her students in the “art of performance” for prepare students for recitals.
Ms. Harris also has many years of experience as a performer and composer in the music industry. She has been a keyboardist for Kerry Livegren of Kansas, Willy Nelson, Rascal Flats, among others. Her musical influences include George Winston, John Tesh, and John Williams.
She is a member of the National Music Teachers Assoc., Phoenix Music Teachers Assoc., American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers, and the Suzuki Assoc. of the Americas.

Jimmy Dunn
Jimmy Dunn teaches piano and keyboards. He has been teaching for more than 20 years, both in Arizona and California. Instruction focuses on theory, note reading, chord recognition and ear training. Jimmy’s teaching styles include concert or "classical", jazz, gospel, and blues.
The Jimmy Dunn Band has released three cds and has been playing around the Valley for 15 years. His professional background includes composing music for soundtracks, television pilots and video games. His influences are many but include: J.S. Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Gustav Holst, Aaron Copeland, Oscar Peterson, Chic Corea, Bruce Hornsby, and Dave Grusin.
Digital Audio Recording instruction is also offered to advanced students, Jimmy believes that music enhances the students well being in all aspects of his or her life.
